To ensure our emails don’t land in your spam folder, please save the following addresses as contacts:

  1. instruction@teslamrinstitute.org
  2. finance@teslamrinstitute.org
  3. student.affairs@teslamrinstitute.org

Step 2: Access learning modules in Teachable

đź’ˇ
Teachable is where you will complete learning modules.
  • Go to https://learn.teslamrinstitute.org/p/mr-leadership5
  • Click on the blue “Enroll in Course” button.
  • A checkout page will appear. Add the coupon code from the Welcome email into the “coupon code” field.
  • After entering the coupon code, the cost of the program should change to $0.
  • Enter your email address. Click the blue “Get it for free” button.
  • On the new page, enter your Full Name and create a password.
  • You should now be able to login and access the Phase 1 curriculum.
  • Once you are logged in, watch Lecture 1 to hear from our Program Director and Chief Instructor Tom Schrack talk about "Program Overview: MRI Program Goals & Objectives".

Step 3: Access quizzes in Classmarker

đź’ˇ
Classmarker is where you will take required quizzes.
  • Login to Classmarker using the login details you receive in a separate email.
    • You will receive an email from Classmarker. Check your spam folder.
  • You should see all the required quizzes for Phase 1.
đź“Ś
You must score at least 85% on a quiz before moving on to the next lecture. You can take quizzes as many times as needed. However, after 3 attempts, we recommend reviewing the learning module material again.

Step 4: Attend Orientation

  • You should have received a calendar invite for a live Orientation session.
  • Please do your best to attend; however, if you can’t, please email instruction@teslamrinstitute.org.

Step 5: Review & Bookmark Key Resources

Student Portal: This site is a one-stop-shop for resources including:

The Student Handbook: Your Source of Truth for expectations and policies.

The Academic Calendar: All live lectures are posted here.

Tesla Student Healthcare Fundamentals Reference Guide: Contains key reference info to accompany the Fundamentals of Healthcare Instruction.

ARMRIT Candidate Handbook

Step 6: Understand Program Requirements

đź’ˇ
The Student Handbook is your Source of Truth for expectations and policies regarding the program. Be sure to read through it.
  • Program Deadline: All program requirements must be completed within 12-18 months of your start date.
  • For specific requirements, please refer to the Student Handbook

Step 7: Finish Phase 1 within 60 days

  • Deadline: Phase 1 is due within 60 days. We recommend completing it sooner.
  • Completion: To finish Phase 1, all Phase 1 Teachable modules must be completed and all Phase 1 Classmarker quizzes must be passed with a score of at least 85%.
đź’Ş
You are not in this alone! We’re here to support you. If we notice that you’ve fallen behind, we’ll reach out to help you get back on track.

Step 8: Start Attending Live Lectures

  • The Academic Calendar is the source of truth for all live lectures.
  • After you attend a lecture, record your attendance this form.
  • Attending live lectures not only fulfills your lecture requirements (see Student Handbook), it also furthers your learning throughout the program.

Step 9: Read the email from our Finance Team

đź’ˇ
If you ever have any tuition/invoice questions, please reach out to finance@teslamrinstitute.org.

If you are on a tuition payment plan, you will receive an email from our Finance Team within your first week to confirm that your invoicing schedule has been set up.

🚨Key Reminders:🚨

  • Your payments will not come out automatically.
    • If you would like to set up auto payments, you can do so when you pay your first tuition invoice.
  • Your first payment is due within 30 days of your cohort start date.
  • Bookmark quickbooks@notification.intuit.com (invoices will come from this address)
  • Bookmark finance@teslamrinstitute.org and respond to any emails from our Finance Team in a timely manner.
  • Remaining current on your tuition payment plan is a requirement throughout the program.

Step 10: Join our Facebook Group

  • Facebook Group: Please join our Facebook group at this link.
  • This is a great resource where we share additional information about the program, as well as the field. It’s also a place for students to interact and ask questions.

Step 11: Create ApprentiScope Account

đź“Ś
If you are an Apprentice, you will need to start logging your apprentice hours in ApprentiScope right away. Otherwise, you won’t use ApprentiScope until you begin your Clinical Phase.

What Is ApprentiScope?

ApprentiScope is a training management system used to track completion of required competencies starting in Phase 1 and, eventually, clinical hours later in the program.

How To Set Up ApprentiScope Account?

Follow the steps listed here to set up your account.

When Will I Start Using ApprentiScope?

Once you have your clinical site, you and your mentor will track information here.

Textbooks/Resources

  • Required: MRI in Practice by Catherine Westbrook. Any edition is fine.
  • Recommended:
    • Anatomy for Diagnostic Imaging by Stephanie Ryan and Michelle McNichols.
    • 3-ring binder: We recommend purchasing a 3-ring binder of any size that you can use to take notes as you go. It's also helpful to print out anatomy pictures and place them into a section in the binder to use as a reference or study guide.
